Service Fees and Babysitting Rates

The information below is for clients seeking in home babysitting services. If you are seeking hotel babysitting, babysitters for a wedding or business function, or seeking sitters for your church nursery, please contact us for the babysitting rates and fees. We charge a $50 search fee to begin the nanny search.

Service Fees (Paid to Peak City Sitters)

Annual Registration Fee = $45 per family (renewed each year)

Each family must be registered as a client, sharing a babysitter between two or more families is only allowed in certain situations. Please contact us for the babysitting rates for this type of situation. 

On-Call Referral Fee (each time a sitter is provided) = $15
Please note: The referral fee is charged when a sitter is scheduled, even if the client cancels.

Any requests (each time a sitter is provided) made with less than 24 hours notice will need to pay a placement fee of $18.

Any requests made with less than 12 hours notice will need to pay a placement fee of $20

Sitter Cancelation: If a Client cancels a Sitter engagement less than 5 hours before the beginning of the scheduled babysitting engagement, the Client agrees to pay the Sitter a $30.00 cancellation fee if PCS cannot find another job for the Sitter during approximately the same time as the canceled engagement.

Permanent Placement Search Fee = $50

We are dedicated to finding a nanny that is the perfect fit for your family. Once we receive the fee, we will begin searching and connecting you to the amazing nannies we have available that meet your families needs and expectations.

Permanent Referral Fee:  If the client would like to have a babysitter 2 or more days a week for 3 months or longer the client is to pay Peak City Sitters one of the following permanent placement fees:

• $72/month for 2 days/week
• $90/month for 3 days/week
• $108/month for 4 days/week
• $135/month for 5 days a week

If the client would like to use a sitter for any additional days on any week other than what was paid for, the client is to pay Peak City Sitters a $15 placement fee per time.

Babysitting Rates (Paid directly to the sitter):

For 2 hours or less the sitter gets paid a flat rate of $35 for 1 child, $38 for 2 children, and $40 for 3-4 children.

The sitter is to be paid an hourly rate based on the number of children.

• 1  child = $15/hour
• 2 children = $16/hour
• 3 to 4 children = $18/hour
• 5 children = $20/hour 

Recurring / Nanny rates (Paid directly to the sitter):

In addition to babysitters, we often are able to provide nannies. The hourly rate to be paid directly to the nanny is dependent on the number of children and responsibilities expected of the nanny. Some expectations that will increase the hourly rate include but are not limited to light housework, laundry, and transportation.

Two hours or less: For 2 hours or less the nanny gets paid a flat rate of $50.

• 1/2 children = $20 – $22/hour
• 3/4 children = $22 – $24/hour

Holiday Rates
Families wishing to book a sitter on the following holidays will pay the babysitter an hourly rate starting at $18.00 an hour and up depending on the number of children. Holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve night, New Years Day,
Easter Day.
